Amc Networks does not win subscribers in the first quarter and snow falls, stock slides
AMC Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMCX) On Friday, financially reported the results of the first quarter 2025. The company reported an annual decline of 6.9% to $ 555.23 million per year, and analyst’s consensus forecast is $ 569.37 million missing.
The corrected EPS of the American entertainment company fell 52 cents and 80 cents missed the consensus estimation.
Domestic Operations: The affiliated organization income decreased by 12% due to basic subscriber decreases.

Advertising revenues decreased by 15% due to linear rating decreases. Content licensing revenues decreased by 13% due to the presence of deliveries.
Amc Networks reported that flow subscribers were 10.2 million since March 31, 2025 and that they were consistent with flow subscribers as of 31 March 2024.
Flow revenues of $ 157 million increased by 8%due to price increases. International revenues decreased by 7% compared to the previous year.
Consolidated corrected operating revenue decreased by 30%.
For the quarter, the business cash flow decreased by 27.9% to $ 108.8 million, while the free cash flow fell to $ 94.19 million with a decrease of 34.7%. AMC Networks finished the quarter with cash and equivalent balance with $ 870.23 million.
Price action: In the last check on Friday, AMC Networks shares fell to $ 5.76 with a decrease of 6.94%.
